Many thanks to our volunteers who have helped bring about and are still helping bring about fabulous fundraisers. We want to also thank our promoters, web divas, researchers, and various committee people.

Drumming for Babaylan sponsors and volunteers
Literally, if I had a drum, I'd be drumming for volunteers right now, hoping that you will step forward and dance with us. For as Agnes Miclat-Cacayan writes about the babaylan: "she dances in wholeness."
We have this beautiful vision for the Babaylan conference of bringing culture-bearers and babaylan-inspired artists and scholars from the Philippines. We are holding this vision and sharing it with you so that this conference happens on April 17-18, 2010.
Kindly email us if you would like to volunteer for one of the following committees:
Program
- Decide invitations to resource persons from the Philippines depending on availability of funds.
- Decide invitations to plenary speakers, special session speakers.
- Call for papers and presentations, decide deadlines for CFPs
- Contracts and Releases
- Program design, content and development (?)
Fundraising
- Sponsors need to be compatible with our vision, i.e. no corporate funding from oil, tobacco, gun and weapons manufacturers, etc…
- Event Co-sponsors can be other organizations who want to partner with us
- Fundraising campaign (funds, ads, services, products, in-kind donations)
- Sponsors --- (Corporate / Business /Community Organizations; Media Sponsors; Individuals, Ad Sponsors)
- Develop relationships with potential and actual funders (Follow up on sponsorship letters and sponsor applications; Make sure sponsor benefits are in place)
Budget / Finance and Administration
- Liaison with IHC on finance matters
- Manage monies – grants, sponsorships, donations, registrations, payments
- Manage contracts – facility, speakers, vendors, etc.
- Insurance
Marketing & Promotion
- Press releases
- brochures, flyers, print collateral
- media (youtube, community papers, tv, facebook, etc).
